Access to the Danger Zone

Film screening of “Access to the Danger Zone”.  Narrated by Daniel Day-Lewis, this new documentary provides a harrowing look at the challenges of delivering humanitarian aid in armed conflicts. Over 52 minutes, Access to the Danger Zone explores the strategies that Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) uses to save lives in the world’s war zones, including Afghanistan, Somalia and eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. Interviews with key experts from MSF, the International Committee of the Red Cross and the United Nations are accompanied by dramatic footage shot in these countries in 2011 and 2012.

With an update on our #NotATarget campaign, a social media act of solidarity to stand up for the protection of civilians and civilian infrastructure, patients, medical staff and hospitals in conflicts.

NOTE this film was previously screened at MayFair on June 13, 2013.
