That said, Somewhere, the latest from director Sofia Coppola (The Virgin Suicides, Lost in Translation, Marie Antoinette) is one of the year's most critically-acclaimed films. This tale of a hard-living Hollywood actor who re-examines his life after his 11-year-old daughter pays him a surprise visit probably comes as much from first-hand experience and observation as it does from imagination for Coppola , who grew up with Francis Ford for a father and Nicolas Cage for a cousin.
