HMB FemCare and Sony Pictures Canada are proud to present the Bollywood blockbuster, “Pad Man” on World Menstrual Hygiene Day. The film tells the true story of one man’s journey to bring sanitary hygiene to women in India despite all odds. After being shunned by his village, rejected by his family and almost losing everything, Arunachalam Muruganatham invented a machine for women to make their own pads and create jobs in their communities. He is now a national hero in India and is one of its most highly decorated citizens.
