So, wait, Jeremy Renner gets to take over the Mission: Impossible franchise and the Bourne franchise and be in The Avengers? I might be resentful if it weren’t for the fact that this film takes “a formula franchise (albeit a great one) and [does] something odd and curious and fantastic with it.” (CHUD)
