Guardians Of The Galaxy – Marvel delivers yet another hit cinematic adaptation (this time based on characters that most people have never hard of before). A funny space epic filled with adventure and heart that just may end up being this generations Star Wars. I’m pretty sure it’s my favourite movie of 2014.

The Boxtrolls – Held over for a third weekend of family matinees! The new stop-motion animation masterpiece from the creators of Coraline and Paranorman.

Mommy – Held over for a second week! Jury Prize winner at Cannes Film Fest 2014! The Canadian entry for Best Foreign Language Film at the upcoming 87th Academy Awards!

ABCs OF Death 2 – Ottawa Premiere! The follow up to the most ambitious anthology film ever produced. Twenty-six short films, each from a different director, one for each horrific letter of the alphabet.

Harry Knuckles And The Pearl Necklace – Tenth anniversary celebration of the knuckle-dusting adventure starring everyone’s favourite super spy! Cast and crew in attendance!

War Photographer – The Canadian Committee for World Press Freedom presents the Oscar nominated documentary, a special event to mark the International Day of Impunity. Readings at 7:00pm, screening at 8:00pm. Tickets $15.

The Culture High – Ottawa Premiere presented by the NORML Women’s Alliance of Canada. Q&A with producer Adam Scorgie to follow the screening. Tickets $10.
