Are you looking forward to Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds? Me, too.
And now Slashfilm.com brings news that “The Weinstein Co has released a faux trailer for Nation’s Pride, the movie within the movie of Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds. (You can watch below, or see a better-quality version on the Apple trailers site.) Here is some context: In the film, the world premiere of Joseph Goebbels’ Nazi propaganda film Nation’s Pride is a setting for one of the key moments in the story… I could explain more but it might ruin part of the film.”

What do you think of the trailer?
Personally, I would have liked to see something that looked period, as opposed to a pastiche of a present-day action film. It’s worth noting that this was directed not by Tarantino, but by Basterds star (and Hostel director) Eli Roth, who delivered an authentic-looking period faux trailer for his segment of Grindhouse.
