A fireball filled with aliens falls to earth in feudal Japan. The aliens (classic, Godzilla-style men-in-suits; none of this new-fangled CGI) proceed to tear apart villages and eat villagers until a band of ninja warriors shows up. That’s when the gloriously cartoon-y “vs.” kicks in. Japanese with subtitles.
