Renowned ballroom dance champion, Pierre Dulaine, returns to his city of birth, Jaffa, to teach Jewish and Arab Israeli children to dance and compete together. The film focuses on the complex stories of three of these children — 11-year-olds, forced to confront issues of identity, segregation, and racial prejudice as they dance with the “Other.” We watch Pierre transform their lives and confirm his belief that dance can overcome hatred and provide the first steps towards real change.
