Nativeflix N Chill: Hunt for the Wilderpeople
The screening is part of a campaign at the Carleton Undergraduate Student Association’s Mawandoseg Centre. Every January we dedicate a month of programming, called RISE (Revitilizing Indigenous Strength and Education) to celebrating Indigenous cultures, arts, and languages. This film is the closing event to a month of events, and this screening celebrates an Indigenous director with Indigenous subjects, Hunt for the Wilderpeople from director Taika Waititi, an Indigenous director from New Zealand.
