If These Walls Could Talk

The Ottawa Tennis and Lawn Bowling Club (OTLBC) is one of Canada’s oldest tennis clubs and a historical asset of the Ottawa South Community. For the past 137 years, the OTLBC has promoted recreational and competitive tennis among all demographics. The facilities and particularly the clubhouse, have served as a community hub for people engaged in tennis and other sports (beach volleyball, swimming, etc.) and for the community at large to socialize and connect. In recent years, the clubhouse – built in 1923 — has developed as an important neighborhood meeting place with a restaurant open to the public that also acts as a venue for community and social events.
