Jenin, Jenin is presented as part of Palestine Cinema Days, a global initiative to watch and reflect on Palestinian cinema and what it teaches us about the Palestinian struggle.

Jenin, Jenin is a documentary that tells the story of the Battle of Jenin in 2002, when the occupation invaded and massacred peaceful Palestinian protesters in the West Bank.

This documentary shows us that the ethnic cleansing of Palestine did not begin in 2023 and reminds us that, just because the bombs have stopped falling in Gaza, massacres are still happening across occupied Palestinian lands.

*This screening is a rental, normal Mayfair prices do not apply.

*Please take note that doors open 30 minutes before showtimes. We encourage people to arrive early. We have a small box office, a small candy bar, and a single-screen cinema, meaning that when most of an audience shows up a few minutes before showtime, it causes a bottleneck. If possible, we appreciate you arriving a little bit early to pick out your seat and get your popcorn. Thanks for your help!

Mohammed Bakri's documentary "Jenin, Jenin" is a heart-rending depiction of the aftermath of Israel's destruction of Jenin refugee camp in 2002, where every scene and interview is profound and distressing in equal measure.
