Soderbergh’s story of an experienced male stripper (Channing Tatum) teaching a newbie (Alex Pettyfer) the ropes is “a spicy yet lucid, surgingly high-energy yet smartly modernistic musical” (New Yorker) — in short, it’s magic. But given the 14A rating, don’t expect to see any wands.
