Mars Needs Moms

Based on the book by “Bloom County” creator Berkeley Breathed, this film (for the plot, see the title) finally puts Robert Zemeckis’ motion-capture animation (as seen in Beowulf and A Christmas Carol) to its proper use, producing “an entertaining, accomplished movie that shows off what its signature technology can do.” (A.V.
