Resurrect Dead: The Mystery of the Toynbee Tiles

In the early 80s, strange tiles bearing the phrase “Toynbee Idea In Kubrick’s 2001 Resurrect Dead on Planet Jupiter” began appearing embedded in sidewalks worldwide. This doc seeks out the man and the message behind the tiles, and in so doing, creates “an uncommonly sensitive and layered portrait of outsider-dom.” (Village Voice) (Btw, 2001 and 2010 also play this month.)
