But there is cinematic proof that you don’t have to go to Texas for a chainsaw massacre! The 1983 grindhouse shocker Pieces will be showing this Friday and Saturday night at 11:30pm! This Spanish made splatter film features a psycho killer who terrorizes a college campus by sawing his victims and create human puzzles! It was directed by an exploitation auteur by the name of Juan Piquer Simon, and if you’ve seen episodes of Mystery Science Theater 3000, you might have seen his ultra cheesy E.T. ripoff entitled Pod People. But Pieces is in another league altogether…
