Roger Moore’s first outing as Bond finds the franchise borrowing heavily from one of the most popular genres of the early 70s: Blaxploitation. An unlikely combo? Maybe, but when Bond takes on the honky-hating hordes of heroin kingpin Yaphet Kotto, entertainment is definitely in the cards.
