Care Canada presents an event for World Refugee Day
Host Communities & the Global Forced Displacement Challenge
Worldwide, over 65.3 million people have been forcibly displaced from their homes. This represents the largest displaced population since World War II. Where these people settle and the way in which they are received largely determines the ease with which they can rebuild their lives.
Join refugees, aid and front line workers, host communities, decision-makers and fellow Canadians for an evening of film and discussion to mark World Refugee Day.
Keynote speakers and discussion panel with Q & A, speakers and panelists to be announced shortly.
Presented by CARE Canada, CCIC, World Vision Canada, Refugee 613, Oxfam Canada, Plan Canada, Save the Children Canada and UNHCR
