He's Baaack!

Jack-O – a Halloween Month / Ottawa Premiere from the AGFA vault, screenings on September 30, October 5!

Advance tickets now available for Jack-O!

Jack-O is the Halloween mash-up between Troll 2, Are You Afraid Of The Dark?, and Friday The 13th Part V that you’ve been dreaming of. It’s Halloween night in the small town of Oakmoor Crossing. And all is not well. Armed with a scythe and a literal pumpkin for a head, Mister Jack has risen from his tomb to seek revenge against a warlock’s descendants and their babysitter (Linnea Quigley of Return Of The Living Dead). Why? We’re not sure. But we are sure that Jack-O is resplendent in its Halloween vibes, autumn landscapes, and surrealist visuals. Newly restored from the original 16mm camera negative, Jack-O is a gloriously fun 1990s slasher that deserves a spot in your heart as a Halloween tradition.

“Jack-O has everything you’re looking for in a cheap B-horror…It’s such a fun watch, I’ll be adding this to my permanent library to watch every October from now on.” (All Horror)

“a very fun flick…I love the look of the monster and Linnea Quigley being in the film is always a plus.” (The Big Movie House)

“Boasting a genuine charm that can’t be faked…a cult favorite” (Oh, The Horror!)

*Please take note that doors open 30 minutes before showtimes. We encourage people to arrive early. We have a small box office, a small candy bar, and a single-screen cinema, meaning that when most of an audience shows up a few minutes before showtime, it causes a bottleneck. If possible, we appreciate you arriving a little bit early to pick out your seat and get your popcorn. Thanks for your help!

A long long time ago a wizard was put to death, but he swore vengeance on the townsfolk that did him in, particularly Arthur Kelly's family. Arthur had done the final graces on him when he came back to life as Mr. Jack the Pumpkin Man. The Kellys proliferated through the years, and when some devil-may-care teens accidentally unleash Jack-O, young Sean Kelly must stop him somehow as his suburban world is accosted and the attrition rate climbs
