Labyrinth

Where everything seems possible and nothing is what it seems.

Compass Centre for Self-Directed Learning is pleased to present a screening of Labyrinth at the Mayfair Theatre! From executive producer George Lucas, written and directed by Jim Henson, with a screenplay by Terry Jones! Labyrinth is the story of a 16-year-old girl (Jennifer Connelly) who has 13 hours to solve a labyrinth and rescue her baby brother when her wish for him to be taken away is granted by the Goblin King (David Bowie).

After watching this classic movie, we’re heading across the street to House of TARG for pinball, pierogies, and a marketplace of Compass creations.

This event is a fundraiser for Compass. It costs each youth anywhere from $600-$1400 to attend Compass for a semester, and while this is significantly cheaper than private school, it’s above and beyond what many can afford. We offer subsidies so that any youth who wants to learn and participate in our programs can, and your support makes this possible. By joining us for this event, you will be helping us raise the funds to keep Compass’ doors open and classes accessible to all.

Tickets: Youth (17 and under) are $15, adult (18+) are $20.
