The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari with Live Musical Accompaniment by Odditory

A Thrilling Fantastic Photo-Play!

October 5th and 6th at 9:45pm! Halloween Month!
A new digital restoration of the 1920 silent film classic, with live musical accompaniment!

Odditory is a border-crossing trio specializing in original music produced on rare and unusual instruments. The group features thereminist extraordinary Eric Ross, master of the Continuum Fingerboard Edmund Eagan, and percussion maverick Jesse Stewart.

Eric Ross is one of very few virtuosos of the theremin, the first electronic instrument. He has performed at festivals around the world and has collaborated with musicians ranging from jazz great John Abercrombie to blues legend B.B. King.

Gemini award-winning composer Edmund Eagan has written extensively for film and television including the theme song to CBC’s This Hour Has 22 Minutes. He is one of the world’s leading proponents of the Haaken Continuum Fingerboard, a sophisticated digital controller and synthesizer.

Jesse Stewart is a Juno award-winning percussionist and composer specializing in jazz, improvisation, and experimental music. He has large collection of rare and unusual percussion instruments, including many of his own design.

Together, Ross, Eagan, and Stewart create music that is highly compelling and wholly original, music that is both auditory and Odditory.
