We have decided to continue to require proof of vaccination at the Mayfair. We made this difficult decision out of concern for the health of our guests and staff, and because we want to do our part to help ensure a safe return to normal (remember that?) for our entire community. Per government guidelines, we’ll also continue to require that patrons remain masked while in the cinema, except when eating or drinking. 

We’ll continue to monitor the evolving situation, and let you know as soon as there are any additional changes to our admission policies. We thank you all for your incredible support over the past two years, and we look forward to welcoming you back to the movies.

It’s been a tough and confusing time here in Ottawa recently, but there are reasons to be optimistic as well (for example, the Mayfair’s 90th anniversary!), so here’s to celebrating the resilience of our city and its institutions together.
